Designs by Finn Juhl...

In 1956, Finn Juhl designed the TurningTray. Today the original trays are on display at Finn Juhl’s house in Charlottenlund, Denmark, now a museum. Lassen Tableware is re-launching the TurningTrays after the original drawings by Finn Juhl. The trays encompass many of Finn Juhl’s characteristic designs, especially the curved teak frame and corner joints are Finn Juhl trademarks.
The trays are made of teak and laminate and are available in 3 sizes and several colour combinations.

The Tray Table was designed in 1965. Frame is in brushed stainless steel wire
with reversible trays in coloured high lustre laminate with wooden frame.

The Pelican chair designed by Finn Juhl in 1940, available with or without keys in hand-stitched wool, leather or lambskin, pin oak, walnut or teak.

Inspired by the so-called free art put Finn Juhl in 1941 to the drawing board to create a bed for his own home. The couch got the nickname Poet by Jørgen Mogensen comic poet and Lillemor.

Street-light in the living room...

A unique piece of Danish design with an urban touch of New York...

This unique Danish design classic, the "Copenhagen lamp" have hung in the streets of Copenhagen for decades. The lamps have been an important part of the Danish capital's street-look.
But the "Copenhagen lights" is being replaced - and now they can be bought renovated and freshly painted, ready for a new era as urban and industrial design icon in Danish homes and businesses...

Set the table...

Multi Coloured Elements was introduced in 2008 - The frame is designed by Louise Campbell with Royal Copenhagen, and the unique style is fragile, modern and colourful in a delicate way.
On the one hand offers frame-type fragments from the Blue Mussel painted from 1775, Flora Danica from 1790 and Half Lace from 1885, and on the other hand the colours are so radically different from the traditional Royal Copenhagen blue and white colour theme....

Scandi-Cool espresso bar in NYC...

Thor Espresso Bar in NYC - http://www.thorespressobar.com/

So who is Thor? First of all Thor is influenced by Scandinavia (obviously) and her sense of design and style. It’s about her simple, clean aesthetic and her efficient use of small spaces. Not to mention also influenced by the concept of hygge*.
(*hygge is a Danish word that has no equal in the English language. It kinda means cozy but really it doesn’t. It’s more a feel, a way of being. Chill. Relax. Something just right.)
